There are three main types of transfers:

1. Transferring between your accounts within the same financial institution
2. Transferring between your accounts across different financial institutions
3. Transferring to other people

Transferring funds to other people, whether are within or external to your financial institution is done through INTERAC® e-Transfer. When you sign in to Online Banking, select Transfers from the left menu pane, then select Send INTERAC® e-Transfer from the options below.

You can then create your Sender Profile by filling out your Name (others would see when you send them transfers), your Email address and your Mobile Phone Number. You can select how you would like to Receive Notices (by email, phone, or both) when sending and receiving status updates on your transfer.

Next you add in your Recipients (who you would send the transfers to) and enter a Security Question for you to ask and them to answer to confirm the transfer.
